To assist those seeking full Communion into the Church by providing a process in which people grow in understanding and faith.

Learn More There is an opportunity for adults who want to understand and learn more about their Catholic faith.  The process is comprised of several components that mark positive steps toward full Communion into the Roman Catholic Church.  There are different aspects of formation in the process.

I. Inquiry Anyone interested may participate without committing to the Reception of Sacraments in the Catholic Church. This journey in which people grow in faith and understanding is called The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. The RCIA is the process for those seeking full Communion into the Catholic Church.

II. Church Teaching As part of the journey, we study areas including Sacred Scripture from the Old and New Testaments, the life of Christ, the Sacraments of our Church, the teachings about Mary and the Saints, Church History, and Christian Morality.  We learn the practices and rituals of the Catholic Church.  Each session consists of teaching, prayer, and time for questions and answers.

III.  Spiritual Formation Candidates are encouraged and supported throughout their journey by Priests, Sponsors, the Catholic lay leaders, and by the entire parish community.

IV. Service Several Sunday liturgies involve Rites designed to strengthen our commitment to serve in a new life in the Catholic Church.
